Igor Mouslimov

Biography of Igor Mouslimov

Igor Mouslimov was born in Russia in 1964.

After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint-Petersburg, where he was recognised as a very talented artist, he worked in the famous Hermitage for two years as a restorer of some of the world’s greatest masterpieces.

In the 90s Igor moved to Finland where he lived and worked for 15 years before moving to the South of France.

Recently Igor was rewarded for his talent by the owner of the world’s famous Hotel Negresco in Nice, where his paintings hang in splendour alongside many famous works of art. Portraits and paintings by Igor’s hand enhance many houses of nobility of Russia, Finland, Monaco and France.

His paintings strike viewers with natural beauty, colour and exceptional technique; and their fine compositions fascinate with extraordinary luminescence stimulating thoughts of eternity.

Igor is an excellent portraitist as well as a skilful copier of some of the world’s most famous masterpieces.

Currently the artist has chosen still life and portrait genres as means of expressing his very fine talent.

Many of Igor’s works are now in private collections in France, Monaco, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Russia and United Kingdom.
